BOUILLAND

An ancient Aeduan village down in the valley of the "bubbling" (“bouillonnant”) Rhoin, 15 km west of Beaune, Bouilland, "Burgundy’s little Switzerland", is close to Sainte-Marguerite abbey, built in 1100. It’s the realm of the peregrine falcon and, with its cliffs with their 375 climbing routes, of rock climbers, too.
